Sarah J. Wittrock

Sarah J. Wittrock

Attorney

I am the child of divorced parents who returned to court several times throughout my childhood. I interacted with attorneys at a young age which sparked an early interest in child advocacy. I graduated law school in 2009 in the middle of a financial crisis. Jobs were few and far between. I spent my first year after graduation completing training for and volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in the St. Louis City Juvenile Court, advocating for children in foster care. I was raised in St. Louis and chose to stay here to raise my family. My husband and I live in Olivette with our two daughters and two crazy cats. In my free time, I enjoy baking, cake decorating, cooking, and spending time with family.

Journey To Family Law

I grew up the child of divorced parents. Like many divorced families, mine experienced several child support and custody modifications. My family went through the same things my clients’ families are going through – court hearings, depositions, and expert witnesses. While I have not stood in the exact same shoes as most of my clients, my experience as a child of divorced parents provides me a unique perspective and approach to family law. It’s also what led me to get certified as a Guardian ad Litem. Working as a Guardian ad Litem has helped me develop a more child-centric approach to custody matters.

Family law often involves strong emotions and difficult decisions. I consider it a privilege to be able to help people get through what is often one of the most challenging times in their lives. Family law issues are disruptive, unpredictable, and scary. My goal as a family law attorney is to help people navigate this process with grace and the knowledge to lead them to the best possible result.

I fully and without hesitation recommend Stephanie, Sarah, and the whole team to anyone needing a family law firm. They are meticulous, diligent, hard-working, and compassionate. They take time to understand the details of each case and situation, striving for the best outcomes for their clients. Jones Family Law took the time to explain and talk through all choices and options so I could do what was best for my family in both the immediate and long term. During a very difficult time in my life, I knew I had sound and competent representation from people who truly care about the work they do.

Testimonials

I was refereed to Sarah Wittrock by a friend who is an attorney, and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I felt as if she and her team always did their due diligence with keeping me in the loop and up to date with any changes. Going through a divorce is a difficult enough without having to deal with all of the legal headache. Hiring Sarah was the best money that I have spent this year, and should anything come up in the future, I know who I can call. Great working with the Jones Family Law Group, LLC!!!

Testimonials

I am very grateful for the legal services and results I received from

Jones Family Law in my divorce case. Stephanie Jones is an outstanding, hard working, professional, and trustworthy attorney who I cannot say enough about. She has come through for me and my children during a very difficult time. Stephanie promised to stick with me through thick and thin and held true to that promise even in the midst of a chaotic and complicated case and trial. Kate Rossi also worked very hard representing me extraordinarily during this time and Megan Leesman, is a diligent and supportive paralegal who is great at what she does. They all work great together and made me feel as though I had an entire team in my corner fighting for us.

Anyone with a complicated family law matter would be blessed to have Jones Family Law on their side.
